I support the military dropping DADT, but you are talking about a highly regimented organization with the youngest members (18) already adults. Most boys in Scouts (excluding the younger Cub Scouts) are 11-14. Being openly gay at 11 or 12 is not only inappropriate, it is not that logical when sexual identity is being formed. The Scouts essentially maintain DADT, which is appropriate for them.

As a parent of 3 boys, I'm glad the Boy Scouts are on alert for homosexual pedophiles. I say "Keep your gay hands off my Boy Scouts!"
