I have to agree, but we don't know her situation. And before people jump all over me with "well if they didn't have enough money they shouldn't have had a kid" there are many situations where people have taken whatever job they're offered after losing a "good" one or had unexpected financial problems. I still feel bad for the kid eating dinner in the car every night and probably thinking it's normal.
