Yeah, it was provided by the State of Hawaii to the Secretary of State of Arizona who wanted proof that Obama was born in Hawaii in order to put Obama on the ballot.

What is wierd about this is that this booklet was in use as a promo item by his publisher right up until 2007? If this was a repblican candidate/ pres i dont think stuff like this would be dismissed as "crazy." it is a legitimate piece of marketing material used for yrs. Why are people considered racist or nuts for asking what gives? Maybe it was a typo perpetuated for years or a true error but I think it is ok to at least wonder about the inconsistencies.
Are you arguing that this promotional item (created by a woman who acknowledges that the error was hers) trumps the man's birth certificate? Really?
NP here. No, but I think it's reasonable to wonder why Obama didn't catch the error and have it corrected.
Because it is unlikely that he ever saw the promo piece. It is a booklet about all 90 authors. It's not an Obama promo piece.

Anonymous wrote:When Obama was born he could have entered the US with his mother under her passport as an infant. He wouldn't have needed one of his own.
He could have been born in the US or Kenya, I don't see why it matters since his mother was a US Citizen.
McCain's parents were stationed in Panama making his birth a citizen born abroad birth.

Anonymous wrote:Yes vet Romney and Obama. I dont think this trumps his BC but the point is if this were a republican the press would surely vet. I believe Obama is a US citizen but why all the drama with supplying the BC, closing his college records, etc. Not there is any issue but no one really seems to care. I would like to see Romneys college records, BC etc. It is the least we can expect of the person doing the most important job in the world and working for US. Vet them all PLEASE!!
Anonymous wrote:So, it's undisputed that Romney's dad George Romney was born in Mexcio. But that fact was never cited to disqualify him when he ran for president in 1968 while serving as governor of Michigan. (His comment about having been 'brain washed" on Vietnam effectively did.) BTW, should we demand proof from Mitt that he wasn't born in Mexico himself? And how do we know his marriage to Ann is his only one? Can he prove that there are no sister wives??
