I think that comparing a 36 year old Romney to a 6 year old Barack Obama is very fair. Levels the playing field.

I think it was blue dog...thats okay.

I want to know how the wingnuts think this story can possibly be true. After all he was supposedly in Kenya at the time.

Perhaps the way to approach things like this is to start with the hypothesis that Karl Rove planned it and that his motivation was not entirely straightforward. For example, he would be totally aware that even the least sophisticated voters would be smart enough to realize that what a candidate ate as a kid is irrelevant to his ability to govern. But for everyone to be reminded that he spent those years in a totally foreign environment reminds everyone that this guy is different from you and me.

So the question for me is whether the Dems will try to bring up subtle reminders that Romney's family spent a couple of generations in Mexico because polygamy became illegal here, or that Mitt did his missionary work in (YUK!) France. And if they do try it, can they do it as well as Rove?

And perhaps even more important, can they manage to keep us thinking about things like Ann's two Caddies, the car elevator in one of their homes, the team owners he pals around with as his idea of a regular guy's interest in sports, and all the ways he is even more different from you and me than the guy who spent a few years in Asia as a kid?

Or will Obama say "Screw that, let's talk policy"? The glory of modern politics is that Obama and Romney can both say that, secure in the knowledge that the "independent" super pacs will tke care of business for them.

I posted earlier about AA not eating dogs. We all know what happened to Vick. Well Romney was 37 at the time and had $$$. How did he drive 12 hours with some weird thing on top of his car and no cop pulling him over? Windscreen? My guess is cops thought it was a cheap way to haul extra stuff rather than buying a roof rack for storage. Or they called in the plate and were told to hold off because of Mitt's Daddy.

Now here's why he's a sh1t. The dog could have ridden in the station wagon where he had stuff and the stuff could have gone in a proper roof storage container.

Those things were bigger than mini vans so Mitt is extremely odd. Obama eating dog as a walking, talking, reading child is off too. But he did write it wasn't at the dinner table so it's not like the sf expected to or had the mom/child cook it.

I hate knowing this about Obama ...maybe it was stuff from another kid bought from a street vendor. If the sf encouraged the eating I feel so bad for the child.
