not true - For the PreS class they initially only gave a handful of spots (maybe 5) and waitlisted the rest of the kids as they saved the spots for sibilngs and founders kids.
MV wound up moving down the waitlist to around #30 before school started and #40 once everything settled.
I was about #300 on the waitlist at MV for Pre-K and got called with a spot the first couple of weeks of school. I signed up after their lottery so imagine I was one of the last on the list. So my impression was anyone who wanted to go, got in.
That's funny, we were in the late 100s and never got a call. That is very odd.
No kidding- we were in the 90s and never got a call from MV.

Damn. How bad does West have to be for you to keep paying money for daycare?

WL #400s for Haynes
WL #13 for CCPCS
Waiting on LAMB, MV, and DC Bilingual, but not holding my breath.
#13 for CCPCS I think you definitely have a prayer--maybe even a good chance.
I need 2 spots, so I hope that 14 families decline now with the campus move!![]()
I know you are excited to be moving up, I want to prepare you for moving back down. As students admitted to other grades complete enrollment forms, their siblings will go on the top of the wait list, ahead of those with no siblings, below the other siblings. Cap City admitted a boatload of new students. 227 in grades PreS to grade 8, plus the high school which I didn't add up. Many of them will have PreS siblings. So, it will be a seesaw.
good luck.
