The registration for classes date for Good Counsel was Friday, March 9. Kids had to register by this date or forfeit their spot.

Unfortunately it's not a one for one. These schools accept a greater number of students than they have spots for knowing full well that they are not going to get a 100% yield on their offers. That's why this notion of X number of applications for X number of spots is so silly. Sure, there are X number of spots but all independent schools admit well over the X number of spots that are available!

I have no stake in this. Heard that Gonzaga applications were around 750. With their location, they pull sizeable number of applicants from VA as well as DC/MD.

Good luck to all in this - but seems like there are many good schools.
