Um, okay. The examples you site above happened at least 50 years ago. We have done little lately to carry the 'Greatest Country in the World' torch you speak of.
ummm, defeat the Soviet Union and liberate Eastern Europe? Play a huge part in overthrowing dictators in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya ... provide a free market economy, the largest in the world by far, that raises the standard of living of billions worldwide?
I didn't realize we went to war with the Soviet Union. Or that we ever invaded Eastern Europe and "liberated" it. And please inform me how we have raised the standard of living of billions worldwide with our free market economy?

It is just the First Lady's charity initiative, just like Just Say No was Nancy Reagan's. Considering the obesity problem in this country, I can't think of a better thing for the First Lady to devote her time to. She is a loving and devoted mother to her kids and I admire her for that, as well as for her work with kids around the country.
I think she has a lovely figure. She's tall and fit. Did you see the earlier posted picture of her (the chrismas tree picture)? Her waist is so small! So what if she has junk in the trunk? As the saying goes, real women have curves.
I like the Mall Run Challenge idea. Good luck, Sensenbrenner!

Michelle looks utterly beautiful in that photo. I am a black woman who has previously posted that I think she shows too much arm and shoulder but dresses quite stylishly. I estimate her size to be 12. She is quite fit. I think eating healthy food most of the time is a good goal. A cheeseburger once a week is fine but not every day.
She probably works out more than we sedentary people can imagine. I am smaller than she is but would take her figure -- big butt and all -- any day (unless I actually manage to lose the last 15 pounds this year; then I want to be me)!
