Anonymous wrote:My mother also does the loud moaning yawn! I caught myself doing it a few years ago, and put an immediate STOP to it. So I suppose I should thank her: if she didn't do it, I would, and I wouldn't know how incredibly annoying it is.
my mom critiques the implausibility of TV shows while we all watch. Maddening. I never do this because of her!

My MIL wriggles her fingers as she eats after touching any food and them licks her fingers loudly. She also hums all tge time but it is not singing... It is lije some kind of internal dialogue. She is hunched over and shuffles. Only 67. Does not cook, clean, or offer to pay for dinners when she visits. The kids love her... I just hope they do not puvk up ger bad habits. I need more gin.

We have an asshole at work who does it to be rude. He's old so ppl think it's because he is so old and needs a nap.

You must be nice to this person. He has YSD. Its a real disorder. Look it up. It is very very cruel to make fun of someone who has a disease. Why don't you think a little about other people before you talk and sound so ignorant. Educate yourself!

Gross alert. Proceed with caution. I saw an episode of Intervention where a woman couldn't swallow food (she had been sexually abused when she was younger) so she had a feeding tube in her stomach for years (not supposed to be in there that long). She wanted to eat food like pizza so she would chew the food and spit it out in plastic cups. She had her spit cups everywhere in her house. Truly disgusting.

DH yawns like Chewbacca and my mother breathes like Darth Vader.
It's no wonder I no longer like Star Wars.

We've heard there's a young asshole who works there, too. . .

You probably heard that wrong. You must be thinking of that same old man. He does everything he can to try to convince everyone he is young.

You are free to start your own thread about memories of your parents or dealing with the loss that has a more serious tone, but I for one am enjoying this light thread about how family can push our buttons more than anyone else.

Please entertain us more with how YOU push other family members' buttons...or are you the "perfect one?"
