No, its not sexual. At least its not for most non perverted people. Ask the perverts what the heart stands for and I bet they dont say "love", theyll say its a butt or boobs or something perverted. Anyone saying its not a sexual referrence is a fool. The kids on the wrestling team I run made it very clear the nod to oral sex and how kids find it entertaining that parents haven't caught on. You can call it a "hipster trend" or whatever you want, but to think its an innocent trend is incorrect

I don't know whether there is a sub-text that is sexual or not. But, even if it is taken at "face" value (no pun intended), why would a young girl, a tween or a teen be saying that she likes them? It's just icky to think of my 9 year old "loving" something that is found on men.
