When you people post this stuff about Vda, it doesn’t hurt them. You’re talking about them so they’re winning.

So no consistency, just blips?

It should not be hard to have a few D1 commits IF “VDA is the best club to be recruited from.”

Who said there won’t be any commits from VDA? DCUM is wild.

Some PHD. Exact words were “the best 2010’s at VDA are 2029’s relax.”

The best 2010’s I know committed already or will in August 2026 after their official visits.

So if a player commits in September, they’re not a top player?

🤷‍♀️ I said the best players I know which are USYNT level and when they are committing. I don’t have the energy to judge your player or manage your emotions.

Not PP but you’re ignorant to the process. Committing early doesn’t mean that you are a top player and committing later doesn’t mean that you aren’t.

Saw a player commit to Southern Connecticut on June 15. Solid commitment, but is that better than a player committing to Virginia Tech in October?

The real answer is that neither commitment is better than the other. It all depends on what the player and their family are looking for.

These kids all run their own race. Committing in June isn’t a flex. That player just made their decision quicker than others.

No emotions here. Just know enough to speak about the process unlike you.

A lot of emotions. I am sorry it is difficult to read my words through your watery eyes. Supercopa, ECNL, and your “elite” club were suppose to make this process easier. My conversation was a tip of the sphere conversation so I am sorry if it is not relatable to your plight.

You are right, I don’t know the process. I am being educating on the process and simply shared what the USYNT players are doing as they are educating me.

Run your race with your child and stop trying to mix my words. You might want to check your emotions because if you are this emotional from an anonymous DC Urban Mom, Lord knows how poorly you present in the family interview.

The part that you bolded is correct. It’s funny though because you’re highlighting it as if it isn’t.

You’re poking fun at PP, who is right by the way, and you’re the one with no clue how any of this goes.

What’s your hypothesis? The best players commit in the first week of recruiting and if you don’t, you’re not any good?

You sound like one of those racist Arlington dads always chirping at players from the sideline and then running to an anonymous online form to talk crap about children. That club also has terrible college placement so it would make sense that you’re a parent there and know nothing about the process.

Good parents aren't easily offended by an exchange of information. Good parents also don't care what other people judgements of their kids. Good parents make their decisions on their timelines regardless of what others do. I don't judge when a family commits. Most parents don't know understand the monthly stipends, revenue share, nutrition plans and the various implication and restrictions of NIL beyond just room, board and books so I don't judge when any other family commits.

You will need to reread my comments to try to see what my point was but you are way off base with who I am and my point. Good luck to your child in the future.

Can you share what you know about NIL in the 2028 class?

Yes, good luck! P4 schools have some NIL deals, but they haven’t proven to be very lucrative for female soccer players. But if your player is on the USYNT, you might get recruited and incentivized by a larger than average NIL deal for soccer at 2k per month.

I wouldn’t trust any coach offering NIL 2 years out. Especially wouldn’t trust advice on a random anonymous Internet forum about a topic that this person obviously knows nothing about, like NIL.

NIL is different from a stipend and rev share.

You’re showing your ignorance again to the recruiting process. Please go find your way to a U little thread and argue about rankings annd Super Copa instead of giving horrible advice on this thread.

Ha! You come off as an a$$-hat yourself. The PP is not far off, there is very little NIL money available for female players.

-Anyone can come in and tear down someone else’s information. And only a$$-hats do it while offering no real or counter information themselves.

Looks like PP did provide counter information in distinguishing the different types of funds available to student athletes (not just YNT players). They also made a very good point about NIL timing (2 years out).

Classy from you though with disguised curse words. Nice!

Since no one talks about union or Arlington that way, the only question is, are you staying at VDA next season?

Anti-VDA propaganda before noon? Getting started early today.
These people trusted the process (but probably didn’t play the game well enough to force DC in to usynt call ups etc).

bing bing bing bing bing. Way easy to read between the lines. Someone missed the cues that they were not part of TDs easy pickups.

1) That was not me. 🤣😂🤣😂
2) You are judging other families choices based on what you want while I am respecting people’s right to choose what they want. Aren’t you the problem? If someone wants to trust a coach, who are you to judge?
3) I am aware of all of the details you shared and ONLY shared it to educate other parents who probably have no clue about these nuisances when evaluating their decisions.

PS: you are so absolutely fun to fuc& with. Keep being you so families like mine can shine.

Based on IG, NIL for female soccer players is just what you would expect and it has nothing to do with soccer.

The last 2 years all we’ve heard is how much placement the club has done. Play here and you will be recruited. Now June 15 has passed and we feel like we’re on our own. Trust the process they say. Everyone’s journey is different they say. Keep putting in the work. The club is focused on a handful of favorites and the rest of us are fighting for scraps. Will not help us with simple intros to coaches at any of the schools which they think are too good for us. What a crock.

Since no one talks about union or Arlington that way, the only question is, are you staying at VDA next season?

Anti-VDA propaganda before noon? Getting started early today.
