Yes, dip. If I make that Lipton onion soup dip, I could easily eat it all.
The Knorr spinach dip recipe is the most delicious thing ever. I could just eat a whole bowl with a spoon. And don’t even think about telling me to sub Greek yogurt for sour cream!
Sour cream really doesn't have that many more calories...

Will you share the recipe? I have a weakness for date bars too!
Yes. It's an old family recipe:
Crust:
2 cups of flour
2 cups of quick oats
1 cups of brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 lb of butter
1 pinch of salt
Filling:
1 lb of pitted dates (I use a little more)
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of karo syrup
3/4 cup of water
juice of one orange
I add a little orange marmalade if I'm short on oranges
Cook all date filling ingredients over low heat until dates are very soft. Stir occasionally.
While that is cooking, blend crust ingredients together. Spread half on greased 8X8 pan. Pat down firmly.
Spread filling over crumbs and gently press remainder of crumbs on top. Bake at 350 until barely brown
Watch carefully.
Cut while warm
tips: I make the two crust layers separately so the butter gets really mixed in.

Carbonara.
No way. I can barely eat 4 bits of Carbonara, its SO rich!!! Do you crap for days?
Hm, I'm always a little puzzled by these reactions. Like people who can't hear the words "taco bell" without referring to their digestive problems. Have you sought medical attention? There's almost nothing that has a noticeable effect on my digestion, certainly not to the point that I need to tell strangers about it. Just lucky, maybe.

If you ate an entire "pan" of Carbonara and didn't have any digestive issues, it is YOU who needs to get checked out!
What's so upsetting about carbonara? It's just eggs and cheese, with a little bacon. Not a big deal, if you make it right.
If you're making Carbonara right, you're substituting guanciale with pancetta.
The best carbonara is made with guanciale. If I can't find it, I'll use pancetta.
Anonymous wrote:Some recipe I got many years ago for granola bars. I thought it would be nice to make a healthier version. My God they are good. DD's friend dubbed them crack bars. I can't make them anymore because I will eat the whole thing, and then they become not so healthy...
