The cold and the snow didn’t make me feel sick. This heat and humidity does.

I’ll take heat over cold any day! I’m in an air conditioned room with ceiling fans running and I had to put on a sweater because I’m cold.

Fires heat up that place on the regular.

I still prefer hot over cold, but the heat seems bother me more and more. I enjoy the days when it's mild enough that no heat or air is required.

All the "you need to lose weight" comments are ridiculous.

I grew up here. Used to be heavy. Lost 70 lbs a decade ago, and am a size 4. Very active, fit, cardiovascularly strong and physically strong.

I sweat even when it's 20 degrees. This weather is miserable - there is no getting used to it, and it's miserable at any size.

Heat is fine. Humidity is annoying. We had several hot but dry days last week and I'd take those over today's humidity.

Yeah, it's brutal. Look out for the outside helpers! I just took cold Cokes out to the road crew working on my block.

It was better.

Yes, the snowcrete sucked, but it's still better than this. Hot and humid is the worst. When you're cold, you can always add layers. When you're hot and nearly naked, there's nothing you can do.

This you can always warm up with more clothes I can't get more naked to cool off. The humidity is too thick to breathe well too.

The consideration in WNC smaller towns is where you would go if it's a 911 situation. Most of us want to avoid going to Mission (except their heart center), so that factors into which town we choose.

I can’t take a hospital called Pardee seriously.
