The teachers are given assessment windows that they must finish assessment by. If you haven’t figured it out yet, the last three weeks of the school year are a complete waste of time for everyone and they cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

FCPS starts graduation 2 weeks before the end date because even running 3 graduations per day, it takes 2 weeks to get through all the high schools.


That's 30 high schools, YIKES!
Those who graduate on June 4 & 5 have a HUGE advantage over those who don't hold graduation until June 15-17! They should all have graduations during the same week!
