My kids go to UChicago and it is a terrific school and a great education, and they took advantage of the opportunities there, learned, grew and will soon be moving on. It is their experience, and others should focus on their own experiences and making the most of them.


I really don't get Uchicago bashing.

How does every post that has UChicago in its title devolve into one or two posters bashing UChicago across the board? Why so invested?

My kids go to UChicago and it is a terrific school and a great education, and they took advantage of the opportunities there, learned, grew and will soon be moving on. It is their experience, and others should focus on their own experiences and making the most of them.

No one views the ivies as top engineering schools.

They are below many state universities for engineering.
