Cecconi's is the best italian and they now have a Milos on Regent street that keeps me sane cause otherwise London food is pretty awful

I really like The Wolseley in Piccadilly.

It's all-day dining and while the food is not gourmet, it is good, and the atmosphere is always bustling (good for people-watching).

I don't know about "favorite" but we went to a place called Beam in Notting Hill (recommended by The Infatuation) for brunch and it was really good and seemed very popular with locals.

There are several, so it might vary from location to location. The original was amazing 15 years ago. I went to the Covent Garden location last year and it was good, but not as amazing as it was when I lived there and used to frequently go to the original location on St Martins Lane. Sometimes places get old/stale and sometimes expansion is not great.

My teen could not get enough of Wagamama and Shibuya Soho in London. Ate at both multiple times.
