I'm sure it would be very hard for his family to see Aubrey moving on in this way, but I doubt they view it as cruel. How can it be cruel for someone to have a baby? She and Jeff were separated for some time before his death, and he'd been having serious mental health issues for some time as well (which can't have been easy on her and no doubt contributed to their separation). Would it be "kind" for her to pause her life, stop working, let the last years of her fertility expire? To what end?

Viewing a woman who lost her husband to suicide as "viciously cruel" because she has chosen to move forward. If anything, I expect Jeff's death really hammered home for Aubrey how precious time and family are, and perhaps inspired her to make the most of her life by starting a family of her own. How is that "cruel"?

Saw Aubrey on Seth Myers recently. She is popping. Her face has gained weight. She’s going to have a tough time losing that baby weight at 41.
