I’m sure there are plenty that would be just fine but we personally prefer Stella for parties because it has a neutral crispness. And the bottle has a classy look, which I’m sure sounds pretentious, but it’s true.

Consider not inviting any sober killjoys.

I’d have one Pilsner and one light Pilsner.

You don’t need fancy IPAs.

I’d get Stella or Corona (no you don’t need the lime)

And Amstel light

It doesn’t have to be “great” it just has to appeal to the masses.

This.

I think is perfect. Noone will/should complain with this.

I would complain - Stella Artois and Amstel Light are frat boy beers. Don't serve your guests frat boy beers.

Sounds to me like the guests are going to be former frat / now country club types. If that’s the case Stella is perfect!

I also like showcasing local beers - we buy from Port City because we live close to it.

Anonymous wrote:Stella and Sapporo are good, generic but still vaguely (slightly) upscale. If you get Coronas, serve them with lime wedges. Sam Adams is okay. I can't stand Yuengling.

Same, no to the Yuenglings.
