All Trump has managed to do is install an even more hardline Iranian leader, convince the Iranians that nuclear weapons are needed to protect their regime, tank the global economy, provoke regional escalation, and alienate Gulf allies who are being attacked because of this operation.
The military operation is always impressive the first few week on American TV just like Iraq when Bush declared mission accomplished.
Yes, hitting a few targets with bombs isn't that hard. Actual change to a country is very hard.
Yes, but that's not a military problem. That is a political problem. The US military is doing exactly what's asked of them. And with the exception of that unfortunate strike on a girls school, it is fulfilling its mission with extraordinary skill and professionalism. But that cannot replace the absolute stupidity of Trump and Hegseth for defying all advice and launching a war that does not have an easy political solution. The miltary knows all the risks. But it cannot do anything to save Republicans from their strategic idiocy.

We're losing according to Trump. That's why he's begging for help.

The drone factory must be very large. Do you think it’s been flattened?
Nope. Trump and Bibi do not want to hurt Russia’s war effort. They have not targeted the drone factories.

We’ve hit their weapons factories. We killed 50 of their top leaders on day one. The new leader is on death’s doorstep. The last mile is always the hardest. People here WANT America to fail. It’s either tragically sad, or a psyop.
ITA. Don’t expect people here to recognize the success of our military. You are correct - they are actually wanting the US to fail because their hatred of Trump far outweighs their love of country.
The US has failed. Oil is not flowing, the Iran has crippled US air defenses, no “regime” change, Iran is actually working on a nuclear weapon, Iran is using solid fuel ballistic missiles, the US port facilities since the gulf are wrecked, US bases are wrecked, Israel is getting hammered, etc.
You watch too much porn war. Blowing up a $5,000 pickup truck with a 1.2 million dollar missiles from a plane that cost $33,000 an hour to flies is not winning.
+1. I mean, it's Iran. It's not about beating them silly. You judge it by impact. A top tier team should whip the shit out of a mediocre team. The faster, harder, easier it is to do, the more top team it is. For all our bravado, we are not doing really that well....
We killed 50+ of their tier one leadership on day one. The U.S. President plays golf whenever he feels like and holds rallies. The cabinet goes about there business like every other day. It’s business as usual for Congress.
Iran’s navy is completely debilitated and ours is off their shore launching attacks.
Iran’s air force is crippled, as well as their air defenses. We own their skies.
Iran has drones, but we’re flattening their military industrial complex so they’re losing the ability to re-arm. We’ll find their drones and bomb them.
