PP here. I agree that there are all shapes and sizes, and I'm not curvy either. But a totally straight cardboard look does look like a teen boy.

I hate Anne Hathaway's dress. Not a fan of the exaggerated mermaid look.

I can't find a picture of Zendaya yet, but she looks GORGEOUS. She and Rose Byrne are tied for best look for dresses. Amy Madigan and the cinematographer for Sinners, Autumn Durald Arkapaw, tie for ladies in jackets.

The in memoriam was gutting. I don't understand how that room even moved on from that. It's always sad, but this year with what happened to the Reiners, on top of so many extraordinarily talented and prolific people. It honestly just feel like everything is ending sometimes.

I think Teyana looks great -- dress, hair, everything.

I found Chase's dress so underwhelming, though I didn't see it in motion. I hate how it looks like the train is pulling the dress down where it attaches in front. The color feels meh as well. Some dresses just don't photograph well though. I think it's hard sometimes for nominees who have to think about how a dress will look on stage and also how it will photograph on the red carpet. It's hard to find impactful dresses that work really well in both settings. I get why sometimes people just choose the dress that feels good and moves well.
