Penn State is on par with Caltech, and higher than UT Austin? C'mon.
I mean, my kid is going to Penn State, but I'm under no illusion that Penn State is a T45 school.
The point is that kids graduating from Penn State get good jobs, probably due to the alumni network.
Separately, I know a Babson grad who owns his own company. He was brilliant when I worked with him. I know 2 BU grads who are law firm partners. I actually prefer this methodology because it does take into consideration some of the important parts of finding work. Career services, alumni associations, internship opportunities, etc.
It's only a good list if the majority of grads use linkedin and keep it updated.
LinkedIn likely has the most up-to-date career information of any source in America, certainly more data than any surveys.

This approach heavily (exclusively?) weighs ROI. I totally disagree with the approach and therefore the list but I do appreciate a different perspective.
