Depends on how long the tornado warning lasts. If it lasts an hour, great, then everyone gets to leave. If it lasts a few hours, no one is allowed to leave.

Per the boad docs: "If a warning is received near or during dismissal, the release of students shall not
occur until the expiration of the warning."

Parents are allowed to pick up students if there is a still a warning, but no buses or staff can leave.

They have done it before — late busses at the elementary level and the teacher stays. When the #CloseFCPS debacle happened, middle school teachers that had arrived had to stay and supervise until the busses got back to pick the kids back up.

I see it forcasted to possibly begin as early as 10:00 am and the risk ramps up at 12:00 - 8:00 pm/
