* I don’t drink any carbonated beverage before or during my trip.
* I make sure not to eat anything the day of my flight that tends to make me gassy like vegetables, shellfish, and beans.
* if I eat anything on the plane, I take some beano pills right before eating to prevent gas buildup.
* And regardless of whether or not I eat anything, I pop Gas-X pills throughout the flight to handle existing gas.

Do you hold your gas during flights?
Hell no. I fart with abandon. Good, stinky ones, too.
Anonymous wrote:Some of you need to check your diet. Absolutely absurd that you’re negotiating with your bodies on whether or not you’re going to fart on a plane. Unreal how much you all seem to be farting throughout the day.

OTOH I have a distinct memory of having been on a really stressful business trip and as soon as I got on the plane I relaxed and unconsciously let fly the whole way to my seat. I felt bad but hadn’t even realized I needed to unclench or what the consequences would be….
I walked down a plane aisle once downwind from a crop duster. It was horrific.
