I was once over 200 and this would depress me; however, I am now close to 120 and actually, yes, 140 is not slim. also, people's attitudes towards me changed much more when I went from 140 to 120ish than when I went from 200+ to 140.
i find this very hard to believe.

Is this actual science? Is there something I can read about it? How does someone check if they’re insulin resistant? I also had GD with my last pregnancy and have had an awful time with weight after that. I’ve restricted so much that my a1c is good though. Finally in healthy bmi range though I still need to lose another 20+ lbs. Does that mean I’m not insulin resistant?

- Eat lots of veggies and fairly clean, about 1400 calories, good amount of protein
- hypothyroid, autoimmune issues, on synthroid 125
- on lexapro for anxiety, 15mg
- workout 7 days a week hot power vinyasa yoga
- weight routine 2x a week
- 10k steps a day
I cannot control my weight without a glp. I microdose and take the lowest dose for 1 year. . What do you think is the main issue for me?
You are consuming more calories than you think and when off the GLP1 you eat more than you think.

I’m 145 and 5’5 and 1/2… I am an hourglass shape but very slender legs and arms. Please do not tell people how their bodies do or don’t carry weight. What a gross ED culture we live in when someone is telling people they need to get down to 120 at 5’4 to be acceptable to others.
