After the first ID session (assuming its a club that does big open ones vs an Alexandria style one) it’s usually 24/36 hours to release the first wave of offers - typically 10-14. You are given 48 hours to respond but can ask for extra time (I’ve only ever asked for a weekend but I’m sure others push for more). It’s often mostly players that already play for the club in that group with a handful (2-3 usually) of external players that were most likely on their radar before tryouts.
After that it gets long because they are often looking for specific holes to build out their team.
Don’t despair yet, particularly if they are still holding ID sessions - your kid might be what they are looking for.
Last ID session was last night. A teammate (different position) got an offer. No idea about any others. The coaches mentioned the possibility of an additional invite-only session to fill out the last couple of spots. But we have heard nothing. Feeling bad for my kid who felt like they did well.![]()

Now, with that said, offers in from VDA, NVA, Arlington, Alexandria (HD or top on all).
Which one is your son picking?
I think this is a post to reframe the discussion via an ask with no question mark not a statement of their Dins status.
Definitely a post to refocus the group here. Those are confirmed offers. He will decide on Sunday.

No. I think Arlington U13 RL is up for grabs so it's time for your son to show up and show out whenever that tryout happens.
Pretty sure U13 RL had their first tryout on the same day as one of their NL tryouts, which was just weird. Not sure if the one today would have been the second tryout, or if there was another one last week. I think the real question is how many current top team players got NL offers and how many of those went to outside kids. That would tell you how many from within the club are now hoping to make the RL team. I’m sure there are some from the current third team hoping to move up, and kids from outside. It seems tough to break in when they already have so many boys. That being said I doubt they have finalized their RL team.
