I wonder if production stopped others from helping? Or maybe other girls were just this competitive they didn't care?... and I think in retrospect it was edited in just such a way that she seemed apathetic- but not blitzed- though she had to be... and the way she described when she left home when she was younger- she really didn't have a good sense of safety so saying she was legal age (though I honestly thought she was a teen at the time) doesn't mean she could provide consent...

Here's the thing- for those of us who actually watched the show- we know Tyra's bad-acting 'lying' face... and she was using it the whole time she interviewed for this thing. I realized at one point that my upper lip was curled up in disgust just watching her on TV acting blinky eyed/confused yet smug and self-assured that she had accomplished something (-what??)

She has certain mannerisms and facial tells when she is lying and I was just getting angrier watching. I hope the J's don't hold their breath for those phone calls from Tyra.

PS- on that note- The behind the scenes of that was so fascinating because I remember watching it with my mum and we were like 'there is something going on here- this is bizarre- I wish I knew the full story and could see what was cut'...I was so sad for her that episode that no one came over and stood with her-especially the other chick getting booted- as she had nothing to lose. Normalizing verbal assault, then doubling down- may karma be the b!ttch that you deserve, Tyra.

Oh my goodness, I have the exact same feeling. Tyra is the most egomaniacal individual I think I've ever seen. It's tough to watch without wanting to punch the screen. It was a mistake for her to agree to this show. At least the other ones demonstrate a bit of remorse.

One was a realtor. One did a little modeling. At no point did it say x became a top model.

The plus size model did.

It said she modeled and now had an ice cream shop. I don't recall it saying she was a "top" model.

She was in Dove commercials. Seems top-ish to me.

Tyra's idea? Knowing what we now know about the "fashion/modeling" industry, a very safe bet there were some "Epstein" creeps over that show coming to fruition -- if not Jeff himself!
