This. I don't typically wear a ring when I work from home and then go to school pick up and kid activities, or when i run errands on the weekend. If I am doing "something" like going to work or out to dinner with friends Ill wear my ring.

Have you not read Tolkien? Take it off before you become a wraith!

I’m a mom of 2 young children, and I am friends with other moms of young kids, and we often don’t wear any rings. I stay home with them, and my hands get dirty and sticky from interacting with my kids, and I am constantly washing them.

Baloney - DH hasn’t worn a ring in 35 years. Not once has either of us stepped outside our marriage.

Maybe you only know the kind of person who needs a daily reminder that they are married.

My mother’s finger has a permanent groove from her ring and it always squigged me out. Not sure if that’s part of my jewelry aversion. I don’t wear any jewelry longer than I would wear a bra.

I put my ring on like 4 times a year. Happily married. I usually don’t wear any jewelry at all except an Apple Watch.

I used to. I haven’t in about 5 years. I never could sleep in rings and always used to take them off as soon as I was home.

I WAH now and don’t wear them to the gym or hot yoga or walking, etc…and I don’t anymore to grocery store.

I’m not a jewelry person

This is me--I don't sleep or shower or workout with jewelry on, and only wear it when I'm "getting dressed"-- for the office or going out. If I'm working from home or on the weekend running errands or whatever--nope. DH doesn't sleep or shower with his ring on, but he other than that he always wears it.

DH's parents always had their rings on. I'm not sure MIL ever took hers off. My mom always wears her rings. My dad had his cut off when he broke his finger when I was a kid and never wore a ring again after that.

All long-lasting marriages: ILs 70 years, my parents 60 years and counting, DH and me 35 years.
