I spend so much you would not believe, but I never buy stuff for myself for $100. I just don't buy stuff like that. Then when I have to buy clothes, it's usually a bunch at a time.

DH and I also stay in nicer hotels when we travel, justifying it to each other by noting we will either not be there again or at least not for a long time. Would much rather spend on nicer hotels than going out to fancy meals, so that also helps the justification.
Funny, we choose very utilitarian hotels so we can splurge on dinners out. Love all kinds of great food and wine.
