We are a nation of mouthbreathers. Literally the WORST company on earth, with the worst customers on earth, is now the most valuable company on earth.
I hate this country and the people in it so much I think my head is going explode one day.
I sometimes shop at Walmart and I am a very nice person. Prices on some items that I use are $2/$3 cheaper at Walmart than at local grocery stores.
Well, as long as you save $2 anything goes!
DP. Do you not understand that people are struggling to pay their basic bills? You mock someone trying to save $2, but an awful lot of people literally can’t afford their groceries if they don’t save $2 here, and 40 cents there, and $1 there.
That whole process of eggs thing has become a joke, but it’s not merely a joke. Things are really, really hard for a lot of people.
You want to criticize Walmart’s anti-union, anti-competitive practices? Have at it. But to dismiss anyone who is trying to save money in 2026 —- when more than half of American families are struggling to afford groceries, 4 out of 5 food assistance programs are stretched beyond capacity — is wild. You really sound clueless.
It is a vicious cycle ostensibly created BY the Walmarts of the country.
PP. Yes.
I am simply saying we must differentiate between the corporation and the human beings who rely on the corporation.
DP and I agree with you. Walmart sucks. Their business model is profitable but their practices hurt a lot of regular people.
There is no perfect system and capitalism certainly isn't one. Too many bad actors in the world. That is why we do need some government regulation in a capitalist system. Pure capitalism will always hurt those at the bottom.
I also agree with many PPs that it is frustrating as f*ck that these same people vote for the GOP which will only help the Walmarts of the world and never themselves.

WTH is wrong with you?
Maybe get some help.
Sure you are pissed that Walmart is with 1 trillion.
But think about this.
How many people does Walmart employ? Yeah, they have many low paid store workers. But they also have well paid accountants, managers, lawyers, marketing people. Some surely make 100-200k and support their families. What about all the truck drivers that have dependable jobs and loads from Walmart? How about people in rural areas that depend on Walmart for cheap food and groceries that they could not afford from more expensive stores.
So maybe look at the big picture on how many people Walmart employs and how many families depend on Walmart for their livelihood.

Walmart customers are scum. Filth. They elected Trump. They are trash. And yes, they deserve whatever bad things happen to them. Every tornado that hits their trailer park, every gram of meth they snort, every OD, every job lost. Rural America can eff off and die.

I’m with you, OP. Every day it becomes more and more obvious that America was founded by the incompetent morons who simply couldn’t hack it in Europe.
We’re not exactly the best nor the brightest. My fellow Americans make me sick.
Why are you here? Go to Europe. Get out.
Oh I’m on my way, fool. Enjoy this self-inflicted $hitshow, and sorry Europe has no use for your sorry @$$.
But seriously, thanks for destabilizing the entire g-oddam Western World AND ruining the environment for ALL of our kids and grandkids. You really owned us libs, hur dur.

2.) we need to tax big corporations and the billionaires enriched by them a bit more.
That much is crystal clear.

Anonymous wrote:WalMart prices are still good. $8/lb for ground beef is more or less the going price in my area. Not sure what the grocery prices are at our local WalMart but I bet they're more affordable than Harris Teeter or Wegmans. People need to eat, and WalMart is serving a need, especially now.
