And the “Board” who decides on any awards is hand chosen by the AG and its decisions and records will be sealed and not shared. Nothing wrong here.

I am not an expert on these things but it seems politically fraught for the president to use our tax dollars to pay off the people who stormed the U.S. Capital at the same time his tariffs and war are making everything we buy more expensive.

He’s literally just backing a truck up to the UD treasury and loading it up. Pure unfiltered corruption. And all the MAGAs who pretend to care about fraud and abuse are no where to be found.

This might be the biggest fraud case by an administration ever.

He needs to spend years in jail for financial corruption.

In my experience, you need the judge’s permission to drop a lawsuit. Its usually routine, but I would hope the judge would question this one.

Read the article you posted. He got $1.7bn taxpayer dollars to pay out his tax dodging cronies.

The filing came shortly after ABC News reported that Trump was expected to drop the suit in exchange for the creation of a $1.7 billion fund made up of taxpayer dollars that would be used to compensate the president’s allies who have argued they were wrongly targeted by previous administrations, including those charged in the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol.

It’s always 10 billion. He sues everyone for 10 billion.

A federal judge found that the IRS violated federal law “approximately 42,695 times” when it shared confidential taxpayer addresses with immigration enforcement officials last summer.

If Trump is suing for $10 billion because of leaked info from the IRS, that means the government is on the hook for about $427 trillion here — more than its total budget over U.S. history.
