Can you imagine finding out that your father was an ICE agent?
It will be like finding great grandpa’s SS uniform.
I don’t think anyone intends to treat today’s ICE like we treated rank and file Nazis. They know what they are doing is illegal and immoral, and the law needs to hold them to account.
They have already murdered people in the street. Who knows what they are doing in the concentration camp. What do you think will happen if other countries say no to receiving deportees and the camps become too crowded? We all know how republicans think. Senior people in the administration openly give the Nazis salute.

As for why the child was taken at all, this part matters: ICE does not leave small children unattended when a parent is arrested. When a minor’s legal guardian is taken into custody and there is no immediately available alternative guardian on scene, the child is taken into ICE custody with the parent under family detention procedures. That is exactly what happened here. The child was not arrested as a criminal; he was placed into family custody because his parent was detained and there was no one else legally available to take him at that moment.
Finally, the claim that the child is “a legal citizen born here” is not supported by the reporting. The articles describe the family as asylum seekers with an active immigration case. None of the major coverage states the child is a confirmed U.S. citizen. Saying that as a fact when it hasn’t been established is misinformation.
Please, don't bother the raving liberals with facts.

I am ashamed of this country.
Crossing the boarder is not a trip to Disneyland, it’s a crime.
It's not a crime deserving of putting a 5 yr old in a detention center.
On Judgement Day, do you really think God will say to the 5 yr old, "Oh you broke the law"? Rather, He will say to the ICE agents, " “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”" Mark 9:37

Not true. There were other family members present asking to keep the child and they were refused. He was never abandoned. ICE abducted him.
