Odd. The blue stuff I buy at Walmart is rated for -20 Fahrenheit and is not frozen.

What else should we do, besides:
- make sure outdoor spigots are off and drained
- maybe drip faucets
- probably lower HVAC a little so it's not overly stressed, or keep it relatively stable
You should have drained your outdoor spigots when we started having near freezing winter and you should leave them off all winter.
You don't need to run your faucets if you are heating your home.
