And I know he sucks but there’s no way taking Greenland is in the playbook he signed on to…..
The playbook keeps changing and he changes along with it. He once called Trump a dangerous con man.

And then do you really, really want Hakeem Jeffries?
Above Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Mike Johnson? Who WOULDN’T prefer Jeffries? The fasciae’s and the racists. That’s it.
Exactly!!!! I'd take Roger Rabbit over the MAGA clowns.
Good news: That movie came out 37 years ago so Roger is eligible to run now.

Officers in the military are also trained that they must refuse illegal orders - such as torture, murdering innocents, or anything that violates federal law or the Constitution.
If Trump and Hegseth issue an order to take Greenland, there will be a widespread mutiny among the military. None of these soldiers want to kill Danes, Germans, Norwegians, English and so on. There will be enormous resistance within the military, especially among senior officers who are well aware of what a strategic catastrophe an invasion of Greenland would become. It's the end of the US in NATO, the loss of all bases in Europe and other places like Diego Garcia. Not to mention the economic disaster for the US when the dollar is no longer the reserve currency, trade dies, and interest rates skyrocket.
I do believe enough of these spineless Republican senators will finally hit their limit and will vote for impeachment if Trump issues that order. It takes 67 to remove Trump from power. Very doable under these circumstances.
But we should never be in these circumstances to begin. We have a Mad King in the White House. This is a complete failure of our political system.
While the invasion of Greenland would be stupid and immoral, I don’t see a shot being fired. EU troops know it would be suicide. They’d stand down immediately and withdraw under protest. And I doubt the EU would crash the dollar also since that would be equally suicidal.
I think you underestimate Europeans knowledge of history and acquiescence. Why do you assume NATO won't defend Greenland against an unwanted and unwarranted threat?

the break up of NATO and the break up of the USA are a Putin dream come true

If anything, an impeachment would be quicker and far easier
Really? Then what the he!! was the 25th designed for if not this? [/quote
Medical emergencies, first and foremost. Of the president is not physically able to execute the duties of President a majority of the cabinet can use the 25th Amendment
You could make a legal case that mentally ill presidents falls under that but it's a stretch.
Why is it a stretch? You do realize that dementia IS a medical condition. Stop the denial, MAGA.
