I think so. Jan 15 was the deadline online. But you could reach out to admissions and see if they'll still take them. FYI it's an easy application. No essays except for the smaller residential colleges that is your "home within home" within the larger UofT campus. Also, St. George is the most in demand campus downtown rather than the 2 suburban ones.

I graduated from JHU with a BA in International Relations in the early 2000s. Got my masters at GWU for Public Policy and worked for think tanks and non profits.

For what it’s worth, DC is a top student and an IR major at one of the top ranked programs in the country. Dc has recently had several informational interviews with people in the field. All have said there are no entry level jobs (or hardly any jobs) available at the moment. DC is now adding another major.

My kid is majoring in IR and is talking about getting an MBA eventually. Good, bad, ugly? Comments?

DS is American with 3 passports….speaks 3 languages and graduated with an IR degree from a Scottish uni. He ended up meeting the MD of a niche/elite wealth mgmt group during a trip to a Mediterranean spot by accident….He was arguing with his friend about the English School/Realism/Liberalism and this guy got in the conversation…

His ability to communicate with the MD who had a huge interest in IR brought them close together. He eventually gave him the opportunity to interview for a position out of UNI…It has been 3 years now and he is a very successful member of their international wealth mgmt team handling extremely wealthy clients all over the world…….Never thought in a million years he would be doing what he does….

It’s not the only thing available, but it’s the thing that most kids that major in IR want.

Working for a multinational in another country is cool, but you don’t need to do IR to get there. Frankly, if that’s your goal you would probably be better off studying something else. And even more so if you just want to end up at Deloitte or the like.
