Another one is Jimmy Kimmel. He's almost 60. He was not a good looking man when he was young. He's lost weight, grown a beard, improved his haircut, and probably gotten work done. He's also less abrasive than he was when he was young..I'm sure he would be able to date women 20 years younger if he wanted.

It works until they pass a threshold and look and act old. Ain’t no amount of money will make them attractive.

I know the men in this Buzzfeed list are all movie stars, but the list shows that some men don't really get less good looking when they age, and some get better looking as they age. (John Slattery may be the best example but he's not the only one.). This happens to some regular men in real life too. Yes, most women will say that old guy is nice looking but he looks so old. But some women will find these silver fox types irresistible. If they have good personalities and good jobs, they can do well with smart, attractive younger women.

Same for my ex husband. Except not the resembling part. I don't get it. I mean I did think he was attractive when I was 27 and he was a couple years older, and I do think he's objectively attractive now "for his age," but I cannot imagine myself at 27 being attracted to him at 50plus.

I mean, if older women bothered invite much younger men out for dates and paid for it, there would be even more younger men willing to date older women.

I also went on dates with some men who didn’t look attractive to me as mid 40s woman . They all had prior much younger partners (obviously, paid for apartments, vacations etc). Who wouldn’t want that even if he’s not particular hot ?

“ Can older men really attract younger women?”
Older men CAN do whatever they want… Attract younger women, older women, or women their same age. 🤦‍♂️

Steady stream… sounds like a waking std factory. Yakis

Eh, what can I say? My sisterly advice fell on deaf ears.

Women shouldn’t make men their plan since most men consider women disposable

I feel like a lot of 37 year old men are just still maturing- it’s strange. I’m honestly attracted to the salt and pepper, more mature look. I’m 5’5” 125, in good physical heath, and enjoy activity. I’m not bad looking but definitely not model hot (don’t have time for that haha).
I obviously don’t need their money! But I also want someone who’s more of an equal and as a professional/business owner, guys in this age range are more likely to keep up/feel less threatened.

By all means of you get serious with one of those wait to marry till your early 40s. This is when you’ll see a huge difference in sexual performance.
I had a whore of an exH who was mixed race and f..d everything until about 52 which contributed to divorce
Now in my 40s I f..k everything including women because they can O multiple times if they are into you, and men can’t get me off 5-7 times like I need.
If you get yourself hitched to an old man you’ll miss your sexual rebirth in your 40s

I am a man in my 30s and I have zero desire f**g an old woman in her 40s like you.

Ok, that’s fine. So now look at it from female predictive : what makes you believe 20s women want to sleep with you for how attractive you are, and not some other reasons ?
Those men advising their daughters to stay within their age group when dating are good fathers.

I know I am supposed to support my daughter. However, if she brings home an old guy I'll tell her I don't approve of that relationship.

Ok a serious note, what can an old man offer a much younger woman? Nothing. She has her father who can offer whatever she needs aside from a romantic relationship of course.

I'm divorced. I am 52. You will have a hard time convincing that a woman 10 years younger than me somehow finds me attractive or I have some unique features that she attached to. At 42, she should have no problems finding a guy between 40 and 45.

What if they don’t have a good dad?

People with compelling personalities and attractive people can attract much older or much younger partners.

When I was in my early 20s, I had a relationship with a woman 15 years older. In my 50s, I had relationships with women 15 and 20 years younger (and also my own age and a little older). I don't think this is bad or weird. A big age gap is sometimes awkward because a lot of people (especially Americans) have negative reactions.

Correct. Anyone physically, emotionally and sexually healthy won’t need a much younger/older partner to be happy and satisfied in relationships.
Once I dated a guy who was not that much older but he wanted infantilize me/requested that I always call him “daddy”. He was attractive from my perspective just as healthy, functional man. I had big issues in bed calling him that way, because my own dad is well alive and still involved in my life. It just felt so sick!
