Everyone in my family lost service but me. All iphones. I just finally lost service 20 minutes ago.

This is not ok.

My DH has the same exact iphone as me and we are on the same plan. He never lost service. I still can’t make a single call. I’ve tried EVERYTHING.

That's so strange!! Do you have the same area code? What could the variables be?

I am in Florida and did not lose service. Of course I was just sitting by the pool all day reading so maybe I did and didn’t realize it.

Relatives in Georgia and Maryland who use Verizon did lose service, though. And my brother had brain surgery today so it was a challenge to share updates on how the surgery went.

My relatives in Florida with Verizon lost service yesterday too.

I hope your brother’s surgery went well and your family all has service today.

I think it is on purpose so people can’t call 911.

We were told to send an email.

This is what didn’t make sense to me. What is the point if wifi calling if your phone doesn’t work to call using wifi? And yes, I turned off cellular access and rebooted my phone several times.

We have a house phone that uses VOIP. We use magic jack for the home phone service and it costs $50 a year. I think it is very handy to have the service and I think it is dirt cheap.

VOIP doesn’t work when there is no internet. That’s why PP wants a real landline.

WTF. Who even has a landline anymore?

me. two kids. 12 and 15. I want 911 to know exactly where I am when one of them starts bleeding heavily. Not that it's happend...but it could.

Who is your local carrier? Verizon has stopped servicing most copper lines, even going to the effort of removing them in some communities. New built homes in the last decade or so do not have landlines, just VOIP.

My spouse also has Verizon, zero issues.

I could not use Verizon at all for the phone, just could get texts using Fios wireless internet. So annoying but at least I could make calls with my Google Voice number for work with a wireless connection.

Whatever are you prattling on about, simpleton? Do you have Fox News Brain Rot?

I'm not a maga but I'm pissed off about the lack of jobs for qualified Americans when all the tech jobs are taken by H1b employees and other SE Asians.

I’m sorry I studied in high school while you were out getting hammered at the keg parties, Jane.
