Bless your heart. I'm happily married. Why is it so important to you that I not be?

I'm a married woman with kids and I feel like people who go out of their way to attack women who choose to stay single and not have kids are showcasing a deep insecurity with their own lives.
I'm not threatened by women who made a different choice from me because I'm happy with my own life. I don't need to write fiction about other people being undesirable or miserable because they made a different choice. If they're happy, I'm glad and I don't doubt it. Kids can be great for those that want them and terrible for those that don't.
I saw some terrible stuff working in family court and I think society would be better off if people who didn't want kids didn't have them.

I had two great aunts who were nuns. So by definition single childless women. Nowadays women aren't becoming nuns as much but there's absolutely nothing new about women who choose to not marry and not have children.
Is that a loss? I think so.
The religion part was always a bit of sham, but convents and monasteries were nice roommate arrangements, even for heterosexuals.
