My school's locker rooms didn't have showers, so nobody was showering after gym class. There were only showers attached to the pool locker rooms and then everyone showered in their swim suits.

If the birthday girl doesn't want to do it, why are you even considering it? For most normal people. the whole thing would be a hard pass.
That's pretty rude. This is an important cultural ritual in Korea. And many other cultures have similar rituals (Japanese onsen, for example, and Hammams in Morocco). It's fine if you don't enjoy it, but making it like it would be crazy to like it is pretty culturally insensitive.
We are talking about a middle aged woman's birthday party in the United States and its not normal in our culture to wander around spas butt naked in front of strangers. Weird and creepy for most.

Based on the crowds there, it seems like plenty of people like it.
Crowds of people go to Applebees and Nascar races and Vape shops, too, but its not most normal people's scene.

Anonymous wrote:i think its a weird thing to plan for a group honestly and very weird that you didn't run it by her first. MOST people would not want to prance around nude at a spa. Its a very specific experience.
