FWIW, I would *never* and it does sound like Hell on Earth. Not sold on Europe, though — I find Europe to be overrated.
You find a continent with over 50 countries to be overrated. Got it. You're an idiot.
Not PP but I got what she was saying…trips to Europe are overrated. It’s incredibly expensive and even with a lot of planning and knowledge it can be hard to avoid touristy stops.

You can't pay me enough to go on a cruise (I grew up in a cruise ship port town and cringe at the memory of hordes of people that got dumped into our streets every cruise season - zero desire to willingly lock myself onto a ship with them. It may not be logical but it's a strong visceral reaction to the idea of a cruise and I would not be able to relax and enjoy myself). Also not a Disney person.
But a coworker told me this fall that they were going on a Disney cruise for winter break. My reaction? "Oh, you'll have such a great time! I've heard people love those cruises. Have fun!"

We did Disney when the kids were younger. I thought I would hate it, but I came away a convert and get why people like to go now. I don’t think you can judge it if you haven’t been.
But I agree, being civil isn’t hard, and just because someone thinks another’s vacation wouldn’t be their cup of tea, there’s no reason to point that out.

I would judge you if you went to Disney in Florida at this moment in time because of Trump/MAGA/Desantis and the war on women's healthcare there.

Those people were just rude! I'm not a cruise person because I hate the idea of being on the ocean but I would never judge somebody else for taking a cruise. I wonder if it's just judgment against Disney? I think your idea was a great one. I know of another family that was similar to your and years ago they took a Disney cruise for their kids and had a fabulous time. The kids also had a fabulous time and they raved about it for years. So have fun on your Disney cruise. Don't worry about the rude people.

+1. I am not a cruise person (think they’re floating Petri dishes) but if I were to go on a cruise, especially with young-ish kids, I would definitely do a Disney cruise. I’ve heard nothing but good things.

Agreed. We know plenty of UHNW families with young kids who go to Disney multiple times a year.
Who do these anti Disney snobs think Club 33 exists for?
Why would Disney have been testing a level ABOVE the private VIP tour?
If you actually have serious $ you know that the only thing that matters in life is happiness and Disney is the “king” of that for kids and families.

Polite people would respond with something like “sounds like fun” or “have a nice vacation” or “let me know what it’s like” or “I haven’t been on one of those. Let me know what you think” or “they do offer something for everyone”. There are so many ways not to be rude.
