Murder is not a federal crime. It just isn’t. And a federal judicial warrant is not a thing for state crime. This whole step Spamberger is saying they should do is BS and she knows most of you don’t know that and will mindlessly repeat her. A federal court won’t grant a judicial warrant unless then crime in question is federal.
You fully missed the point. Yes, Descano has failed us. But Fairfax police and co7 ty aren’t to blame for ICE failures. They could have deported this guy but they didn’t do the work.
No you are not understanding. This step that Spanberger wants them to go through does not exist for those that haven’t been accused of committing a federal crime. So the step just doesn’t exist. She is putting ICE in the position they were in in Minnesota where the only way they can get these bad guys is to sit outside the jail or courthouse and arrest them as they walk out and you KNOW that is going to cause riots. Maybe that is what the governor wants.
You’re mistaken.

Shouldn’t she know if the step does not exist, as a former federal agent?

Anonymous wrote:I believe the Police told Descano that the guy who murdered the Teacher would commit another violient crime. They said it wasn’t an “if” it was a “when.” Descano needs to be recalled because he just doesn’t care about us. He just doesn’t.

The Sherriff could hold illegals she knows would be taken into custody by ICE, but she won't do so under most circumstances unless the County is also prosecuting them. In this case, even though Descano refused to act, the Sheriff could have held the illegal for ICE but elected not to and released him. She shares culpability along with the Board of Supervisors and their liberal policy positions which set the tone for County government.
Isn't the Sheriff a Republican? Maybe not MAGA, but not a Dem if memory serves.
