+1 it sounds weird frankly. Neither one of our kids would ever consider it.

I don't know why you think it's so weird. I am not saying a majority does it but I am sure some do. Teenagers have different preferences just like adults.

+1. Yes I agree with you. What's so weird?

My DS (16) sleeps nude and I don't think he is weird! That's just how he is must comfortable. The most important thing is to get a good night's rest, I think.

My DS (13) does it too, and first I thought it was weird but I talked to him about it and he told me he just felt more comfotable and free that way and he sleeps better so now I have just accepted. Everybody can't bee the same.

My 24 year old wears pjs from lands end or Costco. They are the lounge wear / sweats type.

Husband father wears Brooks Brothers pjs or Lands end.

Nobody is sleeping naked here.

When my son turned 8 or so I suggested he stop sleeping in pajamas. At that age I didn't see a point in him wearing them, and it was nice to have less laundry and one less thing to buy.

I've never bought pajamas except for an occasional holiday set when they were little. I have two middle schoolers who exclusively wear sweats and tshirts or hooodies. They shower before bed and my 14 yr old sleeps in underwear and a tshirt. My 12 yr old puts on clean sweatpants and a tshirt that he'll wear to school the next day - he just puts on a clean hoodie in the morning. It seems pointless to change out of still clean sweatpants to put on another pair in the morning.

16 yo son wears pj pants to lounge in around the house. He doesn’t care what brand they are. I buy target, Amazon, or anywhere there is a sale.

He doesn’t sleep in pjs and hasn’t since he was 8 or 9 yo. He sleeps in the nude. He would never wear pj pants to school or in public.

DS (13) is okay with stripes or plain colours. Have I missed pajama season or something? I can’t find them anywhere in age 13. I have seen shops that have some suitable but only up to age 12. Do boys stop wearing pyjamas when they enter their teens?

Why don't you just talk to your son? It can be a brief conversation that goes something like this:

“I need to go shopping for some clothes, and I have noticed that you have outgrown your pajamas again. Do you still wear them? I’m happy to keep buying them for you if you want, but it’s also perfectly fine for a young man your age to sleep in underwear or in the nude. No pressure either way. Just let me know".

+This!

My guess is there isn’t much of a market for it because it’s a cultural assumption that the majority of the male population sleeps naked or in just underwear by that age. Is your son actually asking you for pajamas? If you’re just assuming, it might be good to ask him if he still even wears them before you go to any more trouble.

Yes, that is probably right and have you even asked your son if he still wants them? No need to keep buying them if he doesn't want to wear them.
