At many points in the past, parents have thought the same things. Everything works out. It just does. We think we live in important times. We might but probably not. We live in a time of change but probably not that great of a change when viewed over the long term. Stopt he anxiety and live life smartly.

Both of my nieces are working for tech companies. One majored in English at NYU and one majored in Psychology at Stetson. They only have undergrad degrees. They get recruited all of the time.

Already, there are advanced female robots for males available in Japan and they will replace many female roles.
