The kid will be bilingual, however. I've known kids that grew up like this and they learned a foreign language to full native fluency as well as a greater appreciation of foreign culture and cuisine. And, no, it wasn't all Mexicans or Spanish language. This should not to be undervalued—in fact it's priceless. Teach your own kids arithmetic, science, English, and history. Why would you trust the average public daycare or elementary school to do this for you?
