Neither did Cornell.
Both caved to Trump's ridiculous extortion.
No, they didn't. They didn't sign the compact. They agreed to other terms to temporarily suspend the investigations into discrimination in hiring and in admissions. That is all. A lot of these schools did not adhere to the SCOTUS decision, Students for Fair Admissions - they eliminated the race box but moved the determinations to essays and other sources. That was illegal. They also engaged in discrimination against Jews. You do want that to end, don't you?

+1. This is not the compact. This is an admission that the school engaged in discrimination in admissions and hiring after the SCOTUS ruling so is paying a fine to have federal research funds reinstated. What is wrong with that?
Cornell did not "admit" anything. Cornell just settled.
