Yes those poor college students who can afford airfare home during the most expensive time of the year . . .
A lot of colleges close their dorms for the week of Thanksgiving. The kids can’t just stay at school and will have to make other arrangements, like going home with a friend or getting a hotel room. At my college, the Dean tried to find a home for students who couldn’t fly home by asking for volunteers among students within driving distance.
It’s actually quite rare for dorms to close over short breaks like Thanksgiving. Many people do not travel for that short a period.

They’re calling it an air traffic delay. Looks like we all need to be prepared to sit around the airport for a few hours every flight.

Well the “clear” resolution was to fund the government to Nov 21 and Johnson is keeping the House on vacation. I thought it would be solved after the elections but now it may go on way in to next year.
ATC’ers are going to have to find new jobs. Air traffic will get worst each week.
This
Air travel will be non existent by Christmas next year nope
We’ll be inadvertently helping achieve Paris Summit climate goals. Someone better tell the Repubs to re-open the government so we can get back to polluting!

I think it's pretty common.
