How in the world does ICE affect your kids ability to travel internationally to play soccer? Same question for SNAP? Aren't food stamps for those unable to afford food. Not those who's kids travel internationally to play youth soccer.

It sounds like you're a full time victim and you feel that everything is everyone else's fault. You should look up RAE (relative age affect) and how it an be applied you kids that play soccer. It's like a super excuse that you can use for anything. Judging from your demeanor I'd say that RAE is right up your alley.
Announcing that you don't understand science and that it scares you makes everything you say fall on death ears.

On the other hand, my kids understand "overlapping run" because it's a pretty basic term that anyone who watches a handful of professional games on TV in a year would grasp, even though they can't juggle 500+ times.

You don't see the big pic, for every 1 fed there are 2-3 non fed staff that will be impacted.


I did see that big pic and consider them the same as feds. Get your paycheck from the government? Fed.

As a coach that also finds it extremely ridiculous I’ll let you in on who doesn’t find ridiculous:

My bank account and therefore, my family and the international trips we take thanks to that cash.


Glad it's working out for you; this is also why no one should feel badly that they aren't sending their kids on these trips. If you can afford it and your kid wants to go, great. If you can't afford it or just think it's a bad use of disposable income, also great!

These are the same families who regularly take family vacations to Europe, Asia, Caribbean. A soccer experience is no big deal to so many in this area.
