How is this America First?

Is the bailout happening? Trump complained that it would not happen if Milei wasn't reelected. There are elections this Sunday in Argentina, but it looks like midterms. Is anybody an expert in Argentina politics who can explain how this weekend's elections impact Milei?

Yes, $20 billion in US tax dollars went to Argentina to prop up the peso about 10 days ago. The US is trying to pressure banks to lend another $20 bn to Argentina, but for some reason, bankers don't like to throw out their own money on risky economies.

Republicans are spending billions bailing out Argentinians and spending $172 million on private jets for Kristi Noem and $250 million on a gaudy oversized ballroom and buying missiles and warheads for ICE and giving massive tax cuts for billionaires, but they have nothing for hungry American families. That's the story, folks.

I think that is a great slogan.

FYI, the average amount of time a family with a child spends receiving SNAP benefits is 12 months. For senior citizens receiving SNAP benefits, it's 51 months.

No food stamp but tons of tariff money and other subsidies for the rich lazy farmers.

People on food stamps largely have jobs (others are retired, or students, or disabled). Remember Wal-mart hands out forms for food stamps to employees because their jobs don’t pay enough to live.

Even if you're a student you have to work. In the 70s that was not the case but it has been for decades.

+1 exactly. Please tell your voters this. Get out there in person right in front of them and share these thoughts, loud and proud.

You are aware that the ballroom was privately funded, right? Private funds means no taxpayer money. You cannot expect them to divert funds donated to the ballroom, and redistribute the money to random Americans.

What fund is collecting the donations? Where is the accounting for these collections? Trump is not on any donor list so what reporter out there is going to find proof of the donation he keeps claiming? If anybody out there thinks this is not going to involve taxpayer dollars for maintenance, you are a fool. This will cost the taxpayer bigly.

DP. The YouTube extortion money was funneled to the Trust for the National Mall and they’re also actively fundraising for the ballroom.

Reuters/IPSO 51% of Republicans think the ACA tax credits should be extended, 45% say no. (Also, 14% of Republicans blame their own party for the shutdown).

They could fix this.

What will happen if 40+ million people don’t get food stamps about 10 days from now? Total monthly benefits are just under $8 billlion.

Maybe the USA will have their Marie Antoinette moment. Whose head will be the first to ill, I wonder.
