You’re aware that the Constitution mandates DC is under federal jurisdiction, yes? I don’t care one way or another about the Charlie Kirk renaming, but it gets old when DC residents pretend they’re somehow not a federal jurisdiction.
You're aware that Republicans once believed local governments knew best and the federal government should stay out of their business, yes? It gets old when Republicans remind us time and time again that they have no principles beyond exerting power over those they don't like.
