Why shouldn't they be called marriages? Many marriages are already sexless, I don't see why a lavender marriage should get called out as different. They were adults going in. I went into my marriage knowing ... exactly nothing about how the future would roll out. Let's let everybody else make their own decisions and leave them alone.
Because marriage, to me, is already defined, as created by God, as a union between one man and one woman.
FIFY, and don't let Jesus catch you judging!

Would not surprised me at all if Lavender marriages become more popular, especially with the most attractive straight women. They get an equal partner who treats them well and looks fantastic.
he just hates women is all (as a lot of gay men do)

Sorry, but that doesn't work. Marriage is an institution created and ordained by God. Go make up your own word for these weird scenarios.
Marriage is a tax-break provided by the government, and a control structure meant to provide and indoctrinate children.
Like how you are trying to indoctrinate.

You people can’t be satisfied. Don’t come up with new pronouns! That’s too hard for me! Don’t use “marriage!” Make a new word!
The need to control others is anti-Christian AF.

It has downsides, but it has upsides, like any marriage. My main takeaway, both of the article and my life, is that Tolstoy was wrong. Happy families aren't all alike. A lot of these arrangements wouldn't work for a lot of people, but they do for some people and that's good.
It’s not a connected relationship, with orgasms, anniversaries, deep affection. You wouldn’t want that for your kids and you know it.
I would rather my kids be in a marriage like mine than grow up to be the kind of person who goes on the Internet and tells a person they know nothing about what their life is like.
I'm deeply happy and in an affectionate, loving relationship. I'm happier than most people I know.

This is an article about people with different sexual orientations entering into legal marriage in the full knowledge of each other's orientation or asexuality. Essentially, it's about love that transcends gender.
What a beautiful piece, and honest people living honestly.
I know it's probably not easy, but it should open our eyes to all the possibilities out there.
