Ok, but why does she have to leave a public space. She can say it ask for what ever she wants, where ever. They could have ignored her. The NAZIS used to make people turn away and not watch. If you do a public arrest, you should expect the public to see it and calmly (as this woman did) make comments.
why would an alterman be defending illegals thats not their job

Do you really believe off duty police officers have no authority to effect an arrest? This highlights the knowledge gap that causes so much confusion.
But if you don’t identity yourself and prove it why would I not assume that you are a bad guy and use my own CCW?
The alderman was asking for a judicial warrant. They seemed to know those men were ICE.
If you’re being detained or arrested you too will know who you are dealing with.
If you choose to draw your concealed handgun the very best outcome would be the revocation of your CCW. The worst case scenario is death.
“Kidnapping” can be a grey area for the use of deadly force, especially in areas that aren’t gun friendly.
What’s the saying, judged by 12 over carries by 6?
Anyway, it’s going to happen. I think it’s the administration’s goal. There’s really no other reason for the escalating behavior by the ICE “agents.” MAGAs will pretend to be suprised and outraged, normal people saw it coming miles away.

ICE deployed tear gas on a residential street just before a family Halloween parade with children.
They wrestled a working on private property in another residential neighborhood and deployed tear gas once again, despite a judge's order making this illegal.
ICE agents pulled an American citizen from his car on his lunch break while holding assault rifles and across the street from two elementary schools. This same squad hit a man in the street with their car and continued driving.
They are switching up license plates to avoid detection, which violates the law. Some cars have no license plates at all.
Pritzker is putting together an accountability commission where evidence of agents who break the law will be gathered.
Chicagoans are fighting back, but please, ready yourselves. This shit is BAD. Start organizing now. Create groups, communication chains, plans for when they come to your city.
What is the source of this update lol. I can make shit up too

BREAKING: Portland Police Commander Franz Schoening just testified that ICE nailed protestors with rubber bullets and tear gas not because of protestor violence, but in retaliation of ICE ACCIDENTALLY shooting tear gas at themselves.
