No they don't. I lived in eight countries in Europe and Africa and never heard of anything remotely like the pledge. It's a weird American invention that most other cultures find bizarre at best.
Because most other cultures have a sense of heritage and collective history.
American culture has become mostly politics and identity politics because there isn't a particular American identity. That's why America is so bullish on these thin expressions of national identity. It comes from insecurity.
